Ningaloo Whaleshark Swim

Swimming with whale sharks on the Ningaloo Reef was number one on my bucket list and I can happily say that I've now ticked it off!Not only were we fortunate enough to swim with two whale sharks, we also saw a turtle and manta rays; we had plenty of time in the water for observation. From the boat, there were many humpback whales, a pod of around 100 spinner dolphins and even a small family of orcas. I would recommend purchasing the photo package at the end of the tour as we received some fantastic underwater photos.Our swim was truly an unforgettable experience that exceeded all expectations!

We had such an amazing day out with the crew from Ningaloo Whale Shark Swim. Jaz and Abbey did an amazing job ensuring that all the swimmers had a close whale shark experience and photos! The trip was so well organised and the briefings were clear. The food was excellent as well. The staff were so encouraging and welcoming. The vessel was so comfortable and had good sun protection. Just a positive atmosphere, we have done a few tours while in Exmouth and this was the best for sure. Thanks all

These people know how to do it. We had six swims with the whale sharks plus a couple other sessions inside the lagoon over the corals. Super nice people, skilled and knowledgeable but totally down to earth.We were also impressed by their no trash methods for serving food and drinks onboard.

It was an amazing experience, especially for a first time snorkeler. We had a few opportunities to swim and get photos with the whale sharks, on top of the regular snorkeling stops.It was a comfortable ride out, with good food and drinks, and very chill (but professional) staff. Thanks guys!

We had the most amazing experience and we will never forget it. We swam with 6 whale sharks thanks to the company having their own spotter plane. Everything was so well run compared to other boat tours we have been on. The whole experience felt luxurious and the crew were all amazing, especially the photographer Romie(but all great). I would recommend this company to anyone who visits.

This was probably the coolest most amazing experience I’ve ever had! Even from the start when I called the reception to ask my million questions the lady on the phone was super sweet and so helpful answering all my questions ! It was a last minute book so the only date available for all the companies I spoke to was on the solar eclipse - whaleshark swim was the only one I found that didn’t drastically change prices for the eclipse which I appreciated as originally I just wanted to see whale sharks. What made my experience extra special though was the crew - I’m terrified of open water and they were so sweet and I never once felt scared with them around, they all had a calm but fun and excited demeanour that really really turned my fear around. Tony, Liv, Pete, Davey, Jaz and the lovely volunteers on board thank you so much for the experience! Also shout out to cliff - the pilot! He found us THREE whale sharks!!! Are you kidding??? It was so amazing.

Amazing experience! Anna was our whale shark mum and her attention to her swim group was outstanding. She was great at directing us to the best positions for viewing and her knowledge was beyond exceptional. Sammy, Tim and Tom (I hope they are the right names) were an incredible team to help us feel safe throughout, lunch and arvo drinks were spot on. I love the passion the team had for exploration and conservation research which was partially funded by our tickets which is awesome. 10/10 ☺️

We had a fantastic time swimming with the whale sharks along the Ningalooo Reef, and doing some beautiful snorkeling inside the reef as well, with the help of the fantastic crew from Ningaloo Whaleshark Swim. When you know what it takes to get into the water with a whale shark, at just the right place and time, you’ll only want to do that with an experienced outfit, and all of them were super friendly, helpful and good fun throughout the day in the bargain. A great crew and excellent planning – they all know what they’re doing and really make your day one of the most wonderful experiences you’re ever likely to have!

Swimming with whale sharks was something I have been dreaming of for the past 30 years - last week that dream was realised and was even better than I could have imagined. The crew were amazing!! They provided so much knowledge, great food, plenty of laughs and an unforgettable experience for me and my family - beautiful coral and so many species of fish, turtles, manta rays, reef sharf, humpbacks in the distance and several swims with the whale sharks.
